This was the perfect stop over on my long drive to Mount Vernon, Iowa to see my son. I loved that it was close to the interstate, well lit and safe, especially in relation to parking, and that I was able to have my dog stay with me for a nominal fee. The courtyard room was perfect for my dog and made it simple to take him out to do his business. We will definitely stay here again in the future for the stop over on the long drive.

It's location was easy to access from the interstate. It was clean and the rooms were comfortable. Staff was friendly. It was remodeled, and had all the amenities expected. We didn't utilize the pool area, but looked like it would be fun during the day if weather permitted. We stayed with our family of four on the way through to Denver, and would stay there again!

The breakfast was the problem. Waffle make had burned on leftovers and the staff woman was sitting behind the counter with her cell phone. Tables could have been wiped off. She did clean the waffle maker when asked but not well. There was no utensil to remove the waffle.

The exterior of the facility is in desperate need of a facelift however our room appeared to have been remodeled and was very nice. The 308 restaurant on site was exceptional with good dining options. The hotel staff was very friendly

this quality inn was not nearly up to par as the quality inn that I stayed at before this one. this is where I was talking about where they are owned by a different entity and they don't know what a first class motel actually is
